LEADERSHIP TEAM
Brian Labbe President
I am passionate about giving back to the community and industry that made it possible for me to build a successful business. My focus is on helping underprivileged youth access real opportunities and supporting the skilled trades — vital, often overlooked careers that are the backbone of our economy and in need of renewed investment and respect.
Christina Labbe Vice President
Born and raised in New York City to immigrant parents, I’ve seen firsthand the power of opportunity—and the challenges that come without it. I’m proud to serve on the board of Project Illuminate, where I can help expand access to trade school education for underserved youth. This work is about more than education—it’s about equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and support they need to build meaningful, successful futures.
John Weintraub Treasurer
I’ve always loved New York City, and I want to do my part to help it thrive. I’ve been fortunate in my life, and I feel a strong responsibility to give back — especially by creating opportunities for kids who haven’t had the same advantages. Supporting the next generation is one of the best ways I know to strengthen this city and invest in its future.
Amber Moriarity Community Outreach Officer
As a lighting design professional, I understand the pivotal role that construction trades play in turning design ideas into reality. Although a college education is the path of many, it's imperative that we also recognize students that pursue alternate paths. Joining the board of Project Illuminate, I hope to facilitate graduating high school students access to and success in trade programs without financial burden. This initiative empowers these youths to pursue rewarding careers and strengthens the construction industry in the New York metro area.
Bruce Taylor Secretary
I believe that we have a responsibility to serve the communities we are a part of and I am committed to making an impact. My involvement in this initiative is focused on creating greater freedom in people's lives and creating opportunities for them to grow the trajectory of their family's legacy.
